About James F. Getz
James F. Getz possesses more than three decades of leadership
experience in the banking industry in Pennsylvania. Since 2006, James F.
Getz has served as chairman and chief executive officer at TriState
Capital Bank in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Early in his career, he held senior positions at Girard Bank and First Pennsylvania Bank in Philadelphia. He subsequently founded Federated Bank & Trust in 1985.
Educated at King’s College, Mr. Getz earned a bachelor of arts in history in 1969. He went on to complete a master of arts in history at Villanova University, followed by graduate studies at Temple University.
Beyond his experience in the banking industry, he has held a number of leadership positions in organizations within his local community. Previously, he was a board member of the Shadyside Hospital Foundation in Pittsburgh and King's College in Wilkes-Barre.
In his personal life, Mr. Getz enjoys donating to local charities. He spends his free time reading, golfing and playing tennis.
