About James Sidd DDS
A graduate of Vanderbilt University, James Sidd, DDS, earned a
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and then completed his Master of
Business Administration. After pursuing other career interests, James
Sidd, DDS, decided to return to school and become a dentist. He earned
his DDS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of
Dentistry in 1998. As a dentist, he has dedicated himself to providing
the best service possible to Native Americans.
For the past three years, James Sidd, DDS, has treated patients at Tohatchi Health Center, located on a Navajo reservation in New Mexico. He joined the clinic as staff dentist and quickly became the Acting Chief. Last year, he received a promotion to Dental Service Chief. At the clinic, James Sidd, DDS has initiated a number of new services for patients, including fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, and a range of other specialty treatments. In addition to treating patients, he oversees the professionals working at the clinic, including another dentist, six dental assistants, a manager, and a dental hygienist. James Sidd, DDS, also trains a dental resident from the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine at the institution.
Outside of work, James Sidd, DDS enjoys exploring his natural surroundings, both in New Mexico and around the country. He strives to hike around the natural wonders of the New Mexico landscape as often as possible and also explores the seas through scuba diving. James Sidd, DDS provides support for National Public Radio, which he considers an invaluable source of news and entertainment.
