About Jamie Mccarthy Goodby
A well-established multimedia producer, Jamie McCarthy currently engages in creative capacities with Leo Burnett Worldwide. His current position builds on experience with the Detroit and San Francisco offices of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (GSP), where he worked as director of integrated production. Guiding the Detroit GSP office, the professional led creative functions encompassing content, technology, and media integration. In his time at the firm, Jamie McCarthy and the Goodby, Silverstein & Partners team developed a full range of next-generation marketing solutions for clients spanning social media and digital applications.
Away from his professional responsibilities, Mr. McCarthy is known in the Detroit community as a musician who mixes diverse genres, from funk-rock to rap, into an original sound. His 2009 album Salvation, which earned a Detroit Music Awards nomination, saw its release at a party sponsored by WDET FM 101.9 and SPIN magazine. Further, the musician’s song Meant 4 Me appeared in the independent film Sometimes in Life, and his song America Get Well Soon received airplay on National Public Radio.
