Ipad for Student Achievement, Part 1

Descriptor: New to the iPad? Find out tips and tricks on navigating your way around the iPad. By the end of this session you should be tapping, pinching, and swiping with the best of them. You will also be introduced to productivity apps that will help make your teaching responsibilities a whole lot easier. Also during this iPad I session, classroom productivity apps will be introduced. These apps provide a digital means of organizing your students work, time, and behavior which in return will increase student achievement. For all K-12 teachers. Participants need to bring their own iPad.

Time: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Descriptor: Looking for a new idea for student presentation? Need an alternative to PowerPoint? Want a fun discussion starter? Come to this in-service and learn how to use a variety of apps and other free web-based presentation tools. Explore fun alternatives to traditional presentations in any subject area. Bring an existing lesson and leave with a presentation ready for classroom use. Infographics will also be explored in this session.
