JCHS Instructional News
News & Celebrations from James Clemens High School
September 8, 2014
JC spirit made this a week to remember! Kids who are engaged in their school community are more likely to be engaged in the classroom as well, and I think we are flying high in that respect! At JC, the students have a superb model of school and community spirit in the JC Flight Crew. Let's build on the momentum! #proudtobeajet
Thank you all for always "being where your feet are" when it comes to professional learning at JC. The contributions made to the conversations in Flight School and afterward have provided additional insights that will drive our learning this year. If you have time, take a look at the Socrative survey data sent after the sessions. Knowing where we stand collectively can help us to "nudge" ourselves and each other forward this year.
Thanks also to all who have shared ideas, articles, videos, etc. to continue the learning beyond the walls of Flight School. I have embedded all that I can remember in this newsletter. Enjoy these pieces from your colleagues, and please feel free to add anything I may have missed or additional links you've found by signing in and commenting, emailing them to me, etc. Please keep sharing what you're learning. We are better together!
Have a great week! Go JETS!
