Wood's Famous Chili

Warm your soul this fall with this spicy recipe

Mix the ground beef with one onion, season with the chili powder, and brown until thoroughly cooked. While the beef is cooking, combine the rest of the ingredients with the exception of the tomato paste and the tomato juice (be sure to strain the lima beans) in a large crock pot and set on high. After the beef is finished, strain the excess grease and add to the crock pot. Finally add in the tomato juice and the tomato paste to your desired consistency or thickness. After the chili has reached full heat, turn the crock pot to low and let simmer for 8 hours. Serve with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and Frito's. Enjoy!
