It is a website and a free mobile app which comprises of an online dictionary. It can be used by all students regardless of their skill level while reading and writing to find the meaning or spelling of words that they do not know.


It is a free mobile app available for iPhone and iPad that allows students to create or study pre-existing flashcards. Flashcards+ is catered to students of a higher skill level to allow them to better prepare themselves for exams and for general review of coursework. It is also available in 22 languages which helps address concerns for ELL students.

Google Earth

It is a website, desktop app, and free mobile app that allows users to navigate the world with a virtual atlas. It can be used in Social Studies classrooms as a template for student's creation of maps and would help in their understanding of geography.

Microsoft Mathematics

It is a desktop application that provides a graphing calculator that plots in 2D and 3D. It can be used by students in grades 11 and 12 during Mathematics when they do not have access to a Graphing Calculator. This can also be a cost effective solution for those students unable to obtain their own graphing calculators.


It is a mobile app which gives students a virtual agenda that can be stored in their mobile device and removes the need for carrying around a hard copy agenda. It can be used by students in Grades 7 and above to keep track of due dates, homework assignments, and upcoming exams. Students are able to program the app to alert them before important dates so that they may prepare accordingly. It also helps reduce clutter for students by allowing them to carry less materials around.
