About Jeannie Huh
During her deployment to Afghanistan in 2013, Army surgeon Jeannie Huh provided orthopedic care to U.S. and Afghan troops as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Back in the U.S. she provides care for U.S. military service members, retirees, and their family members.
Alongside her work as an army surgeon, Jeannie Huh has collaborated in research projects and academic presentations for various orthopedic surgery groups.
A George J. Mitchell Scholar, Jeannie Huh had the opportunity to spend time abroad while completing her graduate studies. She spent a year in Ireland, and during that time she also visited Bangladesh, India, while assessing the efficacy of community health programs, as part of her thesis.
