Jeff Koehler Leads Community Service for SUNY Oneonta Chi Phi Chapter

Interested in working in financial services or marketing, Jeff Koehler recently earned a bachelor of science in business economics at the State University of New York at Oneonta. Over the course of his college tenure, Mr. Koehler also received professional training outside the classroom as a college financial representative intern for Northwestern Mutual. Through the six-month internship, Jeff Koehler assisted with the development of financial and life insurance plans, conducted warm-calls to generate leads, conferred with prospective clients, and attained life insurance certification.

Playing a leading role in his chapter of Chi Phi college fraternity, Mr. Koehler served terms as community service chairman, social chairman, scholarship chairman, and historian. As scholarship chairman, he tutored fraternity members, and as community service chairman, Jeff Koehler organized Chi Phi members in support of the Brewster High School S.A.L.T.Y. Hands Club and its charitable walks that raise money to research treatments for cystic fibrosis. He also arranged Chi Phi’s collaboration with the local Boys & Girls Club and Wounded Warriors.

An active golfer, Mr. Koehler has previously worked on the grounds crew at Morefar Back O’ Beyond, a private golf course near his hometown of Brewster in southeast New York. He enjoys playing a wide variety of intramural and pick-up sports, listening to classic rock, and watching comedic films.
