A company that manufactures memory chips for digital cameras uses the formula c=125 x n^2/3 + 1328 to determine the cost c, in dollars, of producing n chips. How much will it cost to produce 247 chips?
First, you need to write out your formula that you're going to use for the problem.
Next, you need to use the information that the problem gives you to find out what number to plug in for n.
Then you should plug n, which in this case is 247, into the problem. Then from there you solve the problem. Take the number inside the radical and raise it to the 2/3 power and multiply it by 125. Then add 1328 to your answer. Now you have how much it would cost to produce 247 memory chips!
