"Stay True To Yourself
My poem goes here.I believe in the power of being able to stand out,
the freedom to be nobody but yourself,
the right to love anyone you want with no regrets,
the right to feel as free as you wanna be,
the ability to be as careless as you wanna be,
Free-spirited, Unique, Passionate,
I don’t believe in living with regrets, because at one point it was exactly what you wanted.
I believe in forgiving,
I believe in loyalty,
I believe in honesty,
faith, morals, trust,
And I believe in being someone who is slow to take, but quick to give.
My Personal Credo
My credo essay goes here.My credo is “Stay true to yourself.” You don’t ever want to lose yourself. Always remember who you truly are, and where you come from. Never forget how you was made. Remember who was there for you when times were rough, and who never left your side even if you were just a wreck.
It’s so easy to lose yourself. Many people get caught up in other things such as, luxuries, fame, or being surrounded by fake people. You can’t lose the mindset you always thought you would have, but you have to realize how easy it is to forget the simple things; the good things. I have seen it happen to a few people throughout my life so far. One day you will remember what really mattered, but then at that point it may be too late. You don’t want to be that person.
This is a lesson my mom taught me, and my plan is to show her how far it has brought me. She has seen this happen before with friends and family. I think this is a very valuable lesson it depends on how you take it. When you see it happen to people you love you will easily understand this quote. I just know I never want to lose myself. When I’m older I want to be the same person I am, but better.
I think it’s important because ever since I heard it I always wanted to live by it. As I have gotten older I understand it more and more. I just think if I keep this mindset it will make things much easier. I realize if you keep your morals life can be easier, and you don’t have to make it hard on yourself. I just always want my family to know that I will always be there for them and always have a place for them no matter where my life takes me. I also want my sister to have the same mindset.
I honestly don’t think my credo will change. I have stuck to this ever since I heard it. I’m a simple person, and that’s how I want it to be. When I really started living by this is when I experienced it myself. After you see something for yourself it’s so much easier to understand. If you’re smart you will take advantage of it, and learn your lesson. The only change I could see happening is if a major event in my life happens, and I don’t know what that could be until it happens. I believe this will always help me to remember who I am, and who I’ll always be.
I definitely think my credo is something I would like to share with people. I always try to do a good job of sticking to it, because you never know who’s watching. I want my sister to always remember this; we have a very close bond. I think if other people realize this it will save them some trouble in their future. So many people get caught up with their lives, they eventually forget about the simple things in life. I just want people to remember that, and to appreciate the little things.
