Poverty in Industrial Revolution

Industrial Revolution One Word Summary Zane Brown 2nd hour

Poverty in the 1840 was very bad a lot of people had no money, food, or shelter. Kids had to work in mills to make money if they had a night shift they didn't have lights they used candles to see. If you worked in the mill it was a very dangerous job which lead to injuries and death. Clothing was very difficult for the families in the cold winters they would have just a shirt, shorts, socks, and some didn't have shoes. They had no money because the work didn't pay good it payed about $5.50 a month with a chance of injuries.
