A limerick poem a very humurous poem that has a strict rhyming scheme. The first two lines rhyme with the last line and the third and fourth line rhyme, and they are usually shorter.
Cat and Dog
A cat and dog were at play.
Then the dog got tired—in a way.
The cat seemed to miss the cue
And held onto its playful view.
So the dog got rough,
And the cat scrambled away.
