This app shows and describes all parts of the brain in 3D, which would be very useful for a high school biology class when learning the different structures of the brain.
This app has a different educational movie every day in various subject areas for K-12, and then has a test on the movie. This would be great to encourage students to use on their own time, for 30 minutes a day they could use this app instead of playing video games and greatly increase their background information in all the different subjects the app has.
This app provides teachers and students with a safe and free way to interact and collaborate for free anytime they have access to the internet. This would be much like eclass in that has secure classroom discussion forums, allows for posting assignments and marks, and can be used for file sharing and uploading. This app would be better suited for secondary students rather than primary.
Professor Garfield Cyberbullying
This app teaches kids about cyberbullying and would be best for grades 3-6 because that is typically around when students begin their digital citizenship identity.
This app helps students organize their academic calendar quickly and easily all in one place. Students can set reminders for assignment due dates and tests, and the app can be synced with the students home computer and other devices. The days of the paper and pen agenda are coming to an end, and this app can be used by students of all grade levels to keep their academic careers on track.
