Day 4 - 7/29/15

I went for a nice recovery run this morning for 30 minutes. While I was running out the door I grabbed a small handful of nuts. Unfortunately, they were sweetened with honey. I didn't even think about it until I was 1/2 way through chewing them. Oh well, I will remember that next time. That reminds me, I need to go to CostCo to get a container of mixed nuts. They have a great blend full of cashews, almonds, brazil nuts and a bunch others I can't think of at the moment.

I  had a great lunch thanks to my wife picking me up takeout from Now That's Class (punk rock bar). They have vegan food on Tuesday nights and she was kind enough to get me a "cheese steak", potato salad, mac and cheese. Tasty meal.

For dinner I cooked up a bunch of veggies, tempeh and tofu as you will see in the pictures below. I always forget to add the sauce to the veggies after cooking instead of during. It tends to make everything taste the same. After a tasty dinner, I put the kids to bed and watched some tv. No late night snacking for me. Just a tall glass of ice water.

I didn't have any sugar cravings throughout the day at all, even with the oreo's at work staring me down. Hopefully Thursday is just as easy.
