Capturing Student Learning

Unfortunately learning isn't a science. Students learn in a variety of ways, using a variety of media. However, with today's technology it's never been easier to capture this learning. The following are some tools that can help you capture the learning, and display it in a creative way.

Adobe Voice

Allows students to create simple animated videos to tell their stories, with great stock images, your own photos, and text.


Flipagram allows students to create a video slideshow of images to demonstrate their learning. They can add text on top of each image, and then set the whole thing to music.

Shadow Puppet EDU

Shadow Puppet EDU allows students to combine photos and, video, with narration, music and text, to create learning stories. These can then easily be shared.


Animoto is a cloud-based video creation service that produces video from photos, video clips, and music into video slideshows.


iMovie makes it easy to turn your favourite clips into movies or movie trailers. You can easily shoot photos & video using iOs device, use iMovie to edit them together, and create Hollywood-style masterpieces!

A great way to share brief stories of learning through 3 pictures. You can add captions, and graphics to really bring the story to life. And then share it with whomever you want!
