Biography

John has designed the sets for over 70 Broadway shows since 1973. John was an English major at Brown University, but performed, directed and created the posters and sets for his university's plays. After graduating from Brown University, John attended Yale School of Drama, where he was taught by Ming Cho Lee, Donald Oenslager and Jo Mielziner, 3 Tony Award winning, Broadway set designers. John has designed the set of 'Chicago' for Broadway, West-End and Off-Broadway. John has also won a 'Tony' for his set designs in 'Tally's Folly', and in 2013 for a production called 'The Nance'.
