Accomplished Veterinarian Jonathan Rubinstein, DVM, of Central Florida
As an associate veterinarian at Country Chase Veterinary Hospital and a volunteer veterinarian at Save Our Seabirds, Inc., Jonathan Rubinstein, DVM, utilizes more than 10 years of professional experience to provide high-quality care to a wide variety of animals. Active in the veterinary field, Jonathan Rubinstein, DVM, affiliates with such groups as the Association of Avian Veterinarian, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians.
After receiving his doctor of veterinary medicine from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, Jonathan Rubinstein, DVM, began his career at Lithonia Animal Hospital in the role of associate veterinarian. Over the next six years, he held a variety of veterinary positions at such businesses as Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists and Turtle Back Zoo. In 2009, Dr. Rubinstein began a dual residency program in avian and reptile/amphibian medicine at BluePearl Veterinary Partners and, by 2010, had assumed responsibilities at various zoos and aquariums, including the Lowry Park Zoo and Mote Marine Aquarium. He held these roles until transitioning to his current positions in 2013, at which time he also completed his two residencies.
In recent years, Jonathan Rubinstein, DVM, has accepted invitations to speak before multiple professional gatherings. He gave over four hours of lectures about avian and reptile care at the American Veterinary Medical Association Annual Conference in 2012 and spoke for two hours about avian radiographic anatomy at the Florida Veterinary Medical Association Annual Conference in 2010.
