About Jordanna Kisber
Jordanna Kisber, a graduate of the University of Georgia, most recently served as a student teacher at the Judia Jackson Harris Elementary Charter School in Athens, Georgia. She began student teaching at the elementary school after completing a year-long practicum in kindergarten and third grade classrooms. As a student teacher, Jordanna Kisber taught and evaluated students in the areas of math, science, social studies, language arts, and more. She learned to recognize when individual students were struggling with general instruction, and needed more specialized assistance or slightly modified assignments. In this position she also taught a two-week science unit and took part in parent-teacher conferences.
Ms. Kisber received her T-4 teaching certificate from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. In December of 2013 she graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science in early childhood education, with a focus on prekindergarten through the fifth grade. She also minored in Spanish at the school.
