Josef Najar - A Successful New York Finance Executive
Possessing more than a decade of experience in the finance sector, Josef Najar works for Credit Suisse in New York by overseeing more than $1 billion in client assets and was recently named to OnWallStreet's 40 Under 40 List. In preparation for his career, he attended the New York University Stern School of Business, where he earned his master of business administration in finance. Before that, Josef Najar studied economics at the London School of Economics and secured his bachelor of arts in the same discipline from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.
Early on, Josef Najar honed his business skills as portfolio manager and assistant vice president with Bank of New York Asset Management. While there, he partnered with the bank’s sales teams to attract hundreds of millions of dollars in new investment management revenues. Later, he worked for Goldman Sachs Asset Management as product specialist and associate, and Barclays Capital as registered investment advisor and vice president.
A world traveler, Mr. Najar regularly visits Israel and London. He has a special interest in viewing historical sites across the world including visiting the oldest synagogue in Morocco recently. He also supports many charitable organizations like ISEF, NY Presbyterian Hospital, and the Richard and Mica Hadar Foundation.
