About Joseph Cari
The recently selected chairman of the World Policy Institute’s advisory board, Joseph Cari has dedicated his career to philanthropy, public policy, and investing. The son of a doctor, he attended the University of Notre Dame as an undergraduate and as a law student. Subsequently, Joseph Cari earned a fellowship with the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
After obtaining his degrees, Cari joined Hinshaw & Culbertson as a litigation associate. Subsequently, he spent the majority of his legal career at Ungaretti & Harris. While at the firm, Joseph Cari began transitioning into other fields by becoming managing director of Healthpoint Capital, LLC. For a year, he worked as a consultant with the CBS series The Good Wife. Currently, he maintains executive positions with Castellini Partners and with Integration Capital & Trade Global.
Beyond these roles, Cari has garnered seats on the boards of several organizations, among them, One Medical Plaza, LLC; Amana Creative, Inc.; Vanguard Medical Concepts; and Success National Bank. Moreover, President Bill Clinton nominated him to chair the Board of Trustees of the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, and Cari still belongs to its advisory board.
