Arizona State University

The school of my choice is Arizona State University. I chose this Tempe school because i love the environment in Arizona. I also want to study Engineering and ASU is also a very good school for it, being one of the top majors studied. I also have a few family members in Arizona. ASU is also a top 100 academic schools in the world

The school was established Feb 26, 1885. There are four academic campuses that pertain to ASU. The GPA required is at least a 3.4. There are over 1000+ clubs to chose from at  ASU. ASU is also ranked 88th in the world and 48th in the United states by academics.

-My Choice-

I chose to go with the engineering career which gets a good pay and depending on the specific job you have it can be enjoyable and interesting. Arizona State University is a premier school for engineering. The scenery in Arizona is enjoyable. I have been to Arizona my fair share of times and besides the heat , the environment is amazing.

I hope to earn a masters in Engineering and get a job back in El Paso so i can be close to family. In the future I may still want to live in Arizona because i do have friends out there that i wouldn't mind being close with again.

Visuals Of Engineering

I want to be a civil engineer. This consists of drawing out and planning buildings for civil use or city use and supervising the construction, meaning open to the public or open to multiple people or parties(groups). Things such as Airports, Bridges, Dams, stadiums etc... The jobs outlook is to grow about 20% from 2012-2022 due to infrastructure age (building age). This growth rate is double the average and is a good sign for a job such as this as well as other jobs such as accounting that use buildings designed by engineers.

Civil Engineers- Plan out and supervise construction of large scale projects.

Education Level Requirement- Bachelors Degree (Higher Recommended)

79,340/Entry Pay

93,285/Median Pay

138,832/ Experienced  Pay

Because of recent increase in on outlook this means that the salary may rise by 10 to 40%
