The three meditation activities that we did yesterday were deep breathing and using mantras, using your imagination for a story, and sleep exercise. In the deep breathing, we would breathe in and hold it for 3 seconds and then exhale and hold your breath for 3 seconds and so on. Then we would use a mantra. A mantra is a word you use while meditating, like aum. In the second exercise, we would lay on our backs while the teacher told us a story and demanded us to visualize it our mind. That one was very exciting because we go to use a animal friend to protect us. Mine was a dog.In the third exercise a woman on tape would calm us and lure us to sleep by saying a wave of relaxation. IN this period of time I fell asleep, but somebody was snoring and woke me up.
By the way, that was my animal friend. I also have a dog like that.
