Michelangelo was born in 1475 and died when he was 88 years old. He lived in Florence, Italy. He was an only child. Michelangelo was a very arrogant towards others. His father sent him to study grammar but showed no interest in school, he preferred to paint.
His famous accomplishments were Bacchus (a wooden crucifix), he painted the ceiling of the Sistine chapel, and a sculpture of Moses.
Michelangelo was he greatest artist of the Italian Renaissance period, arguably of all time.
