My product approval form states that I will job shadow and interview a professor of music at East Carolina University. This will give me a more in-depth perspective on how music affects students and what roll it plays in their lives.

The interview I had with Dr. Juchniewicz was about how music affects students. We discussed the effect music has in school and outside of school and if there is a specific type of music that has a greater affect on students than others.

The following is a link to the audio file on the google drive. In order to hear it, you must download the file and then open it in iTunes.

This audio file has my job shadowing experience with Dr. Juchniewicz and it was a brass class that tought you how to play brass instruments and how to teach that to children.

My experience was a very good and I learned a lot about music. Music does have an affect on children and I now have a broader knowledge on the subject. This will help me in the future because I plan on majoring in music education in college and this project will help me understand students better and be able to understand their motives.
