Angelfish

The maximum size of the angelfish is 6 inches.  They swim in the middle level and they require a water temperature of 76-86 degrees Fahrenheit.  They are usually peaceful with fish their size, however, angelfish will eat fish smaller than them.  Their tank needs 29+ gallons of water and they need tall plants with slender leaves.

The Tank

Gravel

The tank we are using is the medium sized tank.  It holds 46.875 gallons of water.  Its dimensions are 36" x 15" x 20" and its volume is 1,440 cubic feet.

We used 4 bags of gravel, the gravel at the bottom of the tank is 2 inches thick, and the volume of the gravel is 1,080 cubic inches.
