SWEDEN TABLE MANNERS
By: Hank D'Angelo and Andrew Paris
In Sweden they have the following dining rules: They are that they use utensils ( the knife in their right hand and the fork in their left hand ). They also fold lettuce and never cut it. They only eat bread with their hands, and they don't eat until the host says skoal. Lastly they use 12-15 percent gratuity tips at restaurants.
Sweden has many dining rules. Something I found interesting was that they can never cut lettuce but they can fold it. Something I also found interesting was that they cannot eat until the host says skoal. These dinning rules are different from the U.S.A because in the U.S. we can cut lettuce and we can hold different utensils with any hand. These dining rules are important to know before coming here because if you don't know them people will show no respect to you and it will make you look silly
