English Colonial Speculator
These colonists speculated about the geography of the world. They were explorers and they traveled the world mapping out undiscovered land and correcting maps that were inaccurate. Whether it was discovering bodies of water or continents, these were the people who discovered unseen parts of the world.
Many speculators lived in places like Conakry. They traveled and traded from the ports.
Speculators like Martin Frobisher lived in water-side towns like Conakry. Martin used this location to trade goods to several different parts of the world. He took advantage of the ports by also going on voyages to seek new lands and water-ways.
