Classic case of terrible IT documentation

Last week I helping someone out with an AOL browser problem (one of the 12 left in the country). After researching the problem it seemed as if the AOL Desktop Browser 10.1 might have the feature that was missing. I was going to update their current 9.7 version to 10.1 when I came across this little tidbit of information from the AOL Help site:
Please note that v10.1 is not the newest version of the AOL Desktop software. The most up-to-date version is AOL Desktop 9.7. I would recommend uninstalling v10.1 and reinstalling 9.7


Though both 10.1 and 9.7 are available for download, our most up-to-date version of the AOL Desktop software currently available is AOL Desktop 9.7
