"It doesn't matter where you go in life...what you do...or how much you have...it's who you have beside you." I found a picture of this quote when I went to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and the words really spoke to me.
Kelsey Etter may not be my first friend, the one whom I have known for most of my life, or the one I have done a majority of things with but she is by far the most influential person/friend I never imagined having. Soon she will be leaving for boot camp. Going into the Navy is something she has wanted to do for a large majority of her life and I find that truly inspiring. To have that sort of dedication for something like that for so long is a trait that I wish I had myself. She has shown me the meaning of life. Shown me that it's better to live life enjoying it than regretting/questioning anything. Honesty is definitely one of the most important things in life and she has proven that to me on so many levels. I've been given a chance people rarely get in life. To be myself around someone other than myself. That everyone is different and it's okay. She accepts me for who I am.
