Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks was born on February 4, 1913. Her life was tough. She dropped out of Alabama State Teachers High School, To care for sick family members. On December 1st, 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for not giving up her seat on a bus for a white Person.  After she was arrested she called the NAACP President and Women's Political council (WPC) and the WPC started putting up posters and flyers and she begun a Boycott. After the long Protest that went on, the U.S. Supreme court declared Bus Segregation Unconstitutional in 1957.  In 1987 she founded the Rosa and Reymond Parks Institute for self Development. On October 5, 2005 Rosa Parks had passed away at the age of 92 years old.

Rosa Parks will live in memory of being a Kind and Brave person. She had a brave heart. She thought everyone should be treated fairly. She stood up for what she had believed in and reached her goals. Parks, Has won many Honors for her bravery. She even received 40  honorary degrees! She Received the Medal of Freedom and the Medal of Honor too. Rosa Parks Has even received 2 NAACP Image Awards.
