great white shark

Great White Sharks are very smart hunters.They use specific strategies to catch their prey.Their preferred prey is a seal. But they also seem to like sea lions, some species of dolphins (mostly Humpback Dolphins) and select species of whales.

what happens if there aren't any resources around for the great white shark?

Sharks have several interesting senses which are well adapted to the their lives as roving predators.

limiting factors

there is one limiting factor that we all know is dangerous even more so the the great white shark.US! we are always hunting them and disturbing there habitat. Taking sharks life as well. There is more to. Population could in crease and make the food sores die off. Climate control to they need it to be like warm but not hot and cool but not cold. 

The great white shark is the predator. But with populations increasing then this could become a problem. If the shark is going from place to place it could be going through a patch where there is only plants and kril. That could mean they could starve. Other limiting factors are they are competing with other sharks and animals so that they can get food.

When the palnts make there food and they put out oxygen and then they provide the food and other resources for the other organisms in the ocean

tropism is helpful in the ocean because it gives the biotic factors in the ocean the plants it needs to live off of.


this is a kelp forest decomposer or a mushroom they break down the dead animals and give the decomposed material back to the soil in the ocean witch then gives it back to the new plants that are growing 

some types of decomposers you could find in the ocean are-mushrooms algae bacteria ect


adaptations in the ocean can be very simple or very complicated like the animals that live at the very lowest depth of the ocean they have to adapt to get no sun light and the sing ray adapts because they can blend in to the sand to hid from predators

if you placed a sea creature like the one above in the very highest part of the ocean then they creature would most likely die because it needs little to no sun light and eats on the sea animals from the lowest parts of the ocean

natural selection

natural selection is when an organism such as dogs and wolves are bread for cuteness or the ability to do things that other organisms cant because of the breading that humans or other organisms have done

the coral reef has been natural selected for a protection against the predators that try to hunt the animals that live there it it made to protect because of its hard Shell or its making
