Eugene Lee was the set designer for the musical wicked.

Eugene Lee was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, in 1939. His parents were very involved in theater which probably sparked his interest in theater when he was a young age. His Father was an actor and his mother took rolls backstage. He attended Beloit Memorial High School. He has been a resident designer since 1967 at Trinity Rep. He has Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from the Art Institute of Chicago and Carnegie Mellon University, an MFA from Yale Drama School and also three Ph.Ds. He was first recognized by the public when he designed the set for Slave Ship and Candide at the Chelsea Theater Center in Brooklyn, Massachusetts. Mr. Lee has worked on many sets, a few are;
