Manek Energy Founder
About Ken Goggans
Chief executive officer of Manek Energy, Ken Goggans established the company in 2005. Within a year, he incorporated the firm as a petroleum services company and sought out the best talent in the industry to fulfill his vision. With a team in place, Kenneth Goggans created his first equipment set inspired by a J.W. Williams design and gained his first well contract with Range Resources in January of 2007. What began as a single well project grew into multiple infrastructures, a result of Ken Goggans’ and his team’s professionalism and expertise. Within three and a half years, he obtained a 55% share of the Marcellus Shale play, which included the use of 19 sets of equipment. In 2010, Weatherford International, Ltd., acquired Manek Energy after Mr. Goggans negotiated a deal for an undisclosed amount.
Kenneth Goggans is an alumnus of Texas Tech University, where he earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration. Mr. Goggans is also a licensed pilot and enjoys flying when he is away from work.
