About Kevin Edmundson
Kevin Edmundson currently serves as a commercial and securities attorney at Hohmann Taube & Summers in Austin, Texas. Before assuming his current role in January 2013, he served as assistant director and chief/senior trial counsel in the enforcement division of the Securities and Exchange Commission. During his employment with the SEC, Kevin Edmundson contributed on the Securities Fraud Task Force of Texas and played a role on the legal team responsible for defrauding an $8 billion Ponzi scheme.
Prior to his work with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mr. Edmundson practiced law with Haynes and Boone, LLP in Texas and Seyfarth Shaw in Washington, DC, were he defended corporate clients in criminal and civil suits. Mr. Edmundson attended the Catholic University Law School in Washington, DC. Alongside his coursework, he contributed as assistant editor of the Catholic University Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama
During his unoccupied time, Kevin Edmundson enjoys motorcycling and boating. He also volunteers as a baseball and football coach.
