Background Info About Egypt

Egypt is located at the northeast corner of Africa on the Mediterranean Sea and is nearly one and one-half times the size of Texas. Egypt is divided into two unequal regions by the landscape's dominant feature, the Nile River. In 2012 it was recorded that there was 82 million people living in Egypt and about 94% of these people are Muslim. Today there is an estimate of 86 million people now living in Egypt. On average only an inch of rain fails here in a year.
