Road to Emmaus

By Davis Wendzel

Jesus approaches two men walking on the road the Emmaus and walks with them. The two men are kept from recognizing Jesus.

The two men looked sad and jesus asked them what are you guys talking about.        Cle′opas answered “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?” Jesus answered acting like he didn't know what they where sad about. Cle'opas replied again saying that jesus of Nazareth had been condemned to death and crucified. Jesus then says “O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” The men then offer Jesus to stay at their house so Jesus went with them and broke the bread before the meal and the men then recognized Jesus.

Good job, Davis! Your song does add to the tone of the tackk, so good job!

Watch for typoes. I would suggest incorporating the song earlier in the tackk, so that people are listening to it while they read. Also, maybe add a more happy/hopeful song at the end of the tackk that matches its hopeful/joyful outcome - that they recognize him!
