The moons role

We see phases on the moon because of the moons revolution. In each part of the world you will see a different phase of the moon. Each phase has its own name. There are eclipses, lunar eclipses and solar eclipses. A lunar eclipse happens when the sun is shinning on the moon and the turns red, bloody red and only some part of the world can see it. A solar eclipse is where the moon is right in front of the sun, the moon would be between the sun and the earth. Only the place that the moon is at. The moon is almost visible although you can see the outline of the moon. Tides, there are two types of tides spring and neap. Spring is where the sun, the moon, and the earth are in line. A neap tide is where it is at a 90° angle

Moon phases

Moon phases occur by the moons revolution. In each part of the world each person sees a different type of phase it depends in what part of the world they are in. As I had said we have moon phases because of the moons revolution. It is important to have moon phases because with out them we couldn't have had much light  to see in the dark.

There are two types of tides a spring tide and neap tide. Spring tide is where the sun, moon, and earth are lined up in a 90° angle. A neap  tide is where the sun, moon, and earth are lined up in a straight line. Tides occur because of the moon gravitational pull and the sun's gravitational pull. They affect earth by the climate change. The tides can make the space area change the climate.

Eclipses

Eclipses are rare events that are caused by the moon and the sun. There are two types of them, lunar and solar. A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth is in between the sun and moon, in which then makes a blood moon. The solar eclipse occurs when the moon is right in between the sun and earth. This line makes the moon turn dark and is able to see the outline of the moon. The eclipses affect on earth's satellite that is floating in space.

Why the moon is impotant

The moon is important because without it we wouldn't been able to stabilize our rotation. Also our sea level would if been really different from now. We could drown easily if we didn't have the moon. It helps earth gravity too. This os why the moon is important to earth.
