Confucius was born in 551 BC. Confucius's full name was Kong Qiu. He had a child named Kong Li Qiu. He died March 9, 479 BC. The next day he was buried at the cemetery of Confucius, Jining, China.

Confucianism was an ancient Chinese art founded by Confucius. Confucianism means "The school of the scholars". It also means "The religion of Confucius". His dynasty was the Zhou dynasty. The Zhou dynasty began in 1050-256 BC.

Confucianism taught the five basic ideas of behavior.

1: Kindness

2: Sobriety

3: Wisdom

4: Trustworthiness

5: Righteousness
