Intro Henry Ford was one of the best men that ever came to this world he created the assembly line.Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863, on his family's farm in Wayne County, near Dearborn, Michigan. Henry Ford did not have the best education until later on in his life. He went to a small school house with only one room.His mom sadly passed away when he was 12 years old. In the summer he worked on his families farm. At 16 Ford walked to Detroit and apprenticed himself to a mechanic for $2.50 a week. His board was $3.50, so he worked four hours every night for a watchmaker for $2 a week. Later he worked in an engine shop and set up steam engines used on farms.
Compare and Effect The first car that he made all by himself was in 1903 and he named it the tin Lizzy after his mom passed away her maiden name was lizzie aka the Model T. As a result Ford started to blow up with orders. He hired a couple of men from his old mechanics school and got to work. The men were not fast enough to pump out all the orders he needed something revolutionary. Ford soon could make the car flow non stop out of the shop.
Henry Ford was from Michigan. Michigan is also known as the wolverine state because it shows there strength and broad. The great state of Michigan is a wonderful place for water sports like paddle boarding, boating,wake boarding, knee boarding, and water skiing.
