The Hunger Project is a strategic organization that is committed to the sustainable end of world hunger by always changing and adapting to the new problems that need to be endured.The organization has been established in 13 countries: Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Senegal, Uganda, India, and Bangladesh.
The Hunger Project was founded by a small group of individuals who wanted to raise awareness about world hunger and how society could help.
The organization has been live and active for more than 30 years, teaching people around the world how to avoid famine. In the 1980's the organization stepped in to help find leadership in Africa after famine struck the country. Also, in 2000, The Hunger Project created support programs in South Asia to help women gain more power in politics and bring better healthcare to their countries. They continue their efforts to end world hunger and empower people around the world.
