OUR HYPOTHESIS ARE:
AVA'S: I think that by lifting the slope it will change how much water will go down at one time.
liz's: I think that it will change how much water will go down at one time.
how dose the slope of the tilt of the land affect how much water changes the land?
~stremtable ~tilt ~bowl ~water ~sand ~ clay ~humas ~soil ~rule ~cup with holes
the tilt of the land.
Looking how much the soil moves
after the water !!!!!!!!!!!!!
1:get stream tables
2: get 2 tilts
3: get cup
4: put bowl under the stream table
5: use ruler to meaeier how much the water moved the sand
7: watch it flow
for two lifts :23 in
for four lifts :30 in
for our experinent we tried to see how much sand would move by the lifts.
this is what hapend `when we awnser qustion. it changed the way the water came down. On the 4 lift the water came down really rough so the sand came down with it. On the 2 lift the water came down slowly and it didn't come down as hard so the sand moved a little but not as much as we thought it would. It moved more sand on the 4 lift one because it was so high that it wouldn't stay in place when the water came down.
