in session one my partner and I learned what an actual robot was. We learned what some uses for a robot are. Then we learned what some advantages and disadvantages were of using a robot.
in Session two we we designed a task for Sam the robot to do. We then saved the task. Then lastly we performed the task.
in session 3 we created a program for the NXT brick. Then we ran the program.
in session 4 we created a program for the NXT brick using the touch sensor.we also learned how the program works.
in session 5 we created a a program for the NXT brick using the sound sensor then we ran the program.
in session 6 we learned how a light sensor works. then we successfully ran a program with the NXT brick.
in session 7 we took the post test. then after that we did our n last activity which was to run one last program with the NXT brick.
there are many careers dealing with robot. one example is a a robot programmer. in our module me and Emma got to program the nxt brick to do a job. of course our programming is a lot less complex then was bigger robots are used for. at factories they use robots a lot to make certain items or do things that could hurt humans. these kind of robots are harder to program but with the right training your could manage it.
