The Comet's Curse
The Author of The Comet's Curse, Dom Testa, had a purpose that he wrote the book for and I believe it was his fear of the future. Dom was afraid that a horrible disease or something that was government organized that made 251 teenagers go in a spaceship to a star that is far away to save the human race. If I was one of those teens I would be really pressured to save all of the people in the world.
Trianna- A strong, kindhearted member of the council that deeply misses her father and is under a lot of stress with the new mystery of the DEATH SHIP. She is the leader of the Galahad Mission and is trying to make everyone but herself feel comfortable on the ship.

Gap- Another member on the council he is in charge of keeping Trianna comfortable and he takes pride in doing it because of his head over heels crush on her. Gap is in charge of the supplies on the ship.
Channy- A gossiper on the council that teases Gap about being in love with Trianna. While in charge of the game and athletics of the ship. even with all the tension on the ship she manages to keep a happy attitude.
Lita- The last member on the council is in charge of "Sick House" the medical department of the Galahad ship. She makes sure that everyone in the council has all the information they need to have in order to solve the mystery.
Roc- The super computer that can do most everything to relive a tiny bit of stress from the teenagers. It is the closest thing to adult guidance that the teenagers have on the ship, or is it.
The story takes place on Earth in the future when the Comet Bahktul passes the atmosphere it leaves deadly dust behind in it's trail. Then after the dust takes effect by killing most all of the adults in the world Dr. Zimmer and Dr. Bauer construct a life boat for the teens to live on until they reach Eos. Most of the book takes place on the Galahad Ship.
When the comet Bhaktul floats through the Earth’s atmosphere, deadly particles are left in its wake. Suddenly, mankind is confronted with a virus that devastates the adult population. Only those under the age of eighteen seem to be immune. Desperate to save humanity, Dr. Zimmer proposes a bold plan: to create a ship that will carry a crew of 251 teenagers to a home in a distant solar system. Two years later, sixteen-year-old Trianna and her council soon realize that a stowaway will do anything to ensure that the Galahad never reaches its destination. The teens must find a way to defeat their enemy. For if their mission fails, it will mean the end of the human race.
