Colombia renews bombing raids on FARC after rebels kill 10 soldiers
The President of Colombia ordered an air attack on a rebel group who uses guerrilla tactics recently after an attack by the rebels known as FARC. Their attack had killed 10 Colombian soldiers, which is partially the reason why the President of Colombia ordered this attack. Negotiations between the two sides have happened several times over the years, but the group has been accused of many things such as bombings, murder, extortion and kidnappings.The President thinks that the air attack would end the 50 years of fighting between them.
