Creating a video with humorous lyrics and cute characters allowed people to remember the message better and since this ad was released by Metro Trains, they've noticed a 21% reduction in accidents and deaths on its network

24 hours after the release in November 2012 on YouTube, Dumb Ways to Die became part of iTunes top 10 chart

Also, there was an app created called "Dumb ways to Die" and it uses the characters to avoid "dying" from their specific activity. They also have created a second game using the same characters and trains arriving at the different buildings to complete the tasks.

Dumb Ways to Die became the number 1 app in 53 markets and the number 1 iPad app in 81 countries

Created the stuffed animals of the characters to spread the word of train awareness

If I were on the. Marketing team for the dumb ways to die app I would have a contest over Facebook and Twitter to see who comes up with the funniest/dumbest way to die and put it in the app

I remeber getting this app and playing it a lot! I thought it was fun and funny, but I was always surprised it was for being safe around trains.
