About Larry Rhinehart
Larry Rhinehart’s career with Waste Management, Inc., began in
2004 as a liaison representing cities in the San Gabriel/Pomona Valleys
District with the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD).
In 2005, Larry Rhinehart’s responsibilities expanded to include the
Inland Empire District.
Mr. Rhinehart obtained this position after having worked for SCAQMD from 1992 to 2003 as director of intergovernmental affairs. Directing all government-related functions, he served as a liaison between SCAQMD and various local governments, boards, and commissions.
Before initiating his work with SCAQMD, he worked in the information management field for many years, including as a manager of engineering support systems for Northrop-Grumman Corporation. He has also been employed by General Dynamics, Ingersoll-Rand, and Ameron Corporation, in positions ranging from programmer to computer systems specialist/deputy site manager.
Aside from his career, Larry Rhinehart has served in many elected positions, including three terms as mayor of the City of Montclair.
