How harmful can air pollution be to us humans? A lot to say because many people today are getting sick and not surviving because of all the polluted air floating above us coming from cars, factories, and also humans!
Poor air quality and climate change are very different, but their causes are similar; the release of air pollution from different sources or activities. Burning fossil fuels is the main source for both.
This is how much the air pollution has increased over the years probably from 1971 up on until the latest year recorded 2003.
The map above shows where pollution first started. In 1948 about 7,000 people were sick and died because there was so much pollution from factories and when people also threw down things that were harmful to humans and caused a lot of pollution too.
