The Egyptians and the Nile

Michael Drozt

The Egyptian geography helped Egypt by protecting them from enimies and giving them a great water source. The deserts helped them by the extreme heat, no army was crazy enough to walk it. And even if they did make, they wouldn't stand for more than 10 minutes becauses of how exhausted they would be. I know what your thinking, what about the Nile? Well the nile flowed the wrong way... South to North instead of North to South. The Nile helped the Egyptians by giving them very fertile land to farm on. Every Spring it would flood and leave very farmible silt. That is how the geography helped the Egyptians.
