Benin religion is Christian and Muslim.Christian or Muslim are likely to observe some traditional indigenous. The most common indigenous religion is Vodoun.

GEOGRAPHY

About the size of Tennessee.Is bounded by Burkina Faso and Niger on the north. The climate is hot and humid all over the country.

LIFESTYLES

cooking is done outside or else in a separate room when it rains.Usually the women the food. the basis meal consists of a staple starch

HOLIDAYS

Holidays throughout the year, such as New Years, St. Patrick's Day, April Fools, Christmas, Ramadan, Yom Kippur, Diwali, Chinese New Year, Cinco de Mayo, Groundhog Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and lots more. They celebrate with lots of foods. They have big dances.

GOVERNMENT

Republic under a multiparty democratic rule.One of the smallest and most densely populated regions.Christophe Soglo deposed the first president.

LANGUAGE

Benin has 54 languages. The official language is french. They also speak Fon and Yoruda.

EDUCATION

Education is free in benin. More boys go to school than girls;71.6%boys and 46.2% girls. The adult literacy rate is 40%.

TOURISM

Tourism is a small industry. National parks and culture are the main attractions. The government thinks tourism is a way to diversify its economy.
